Past and Present Swimmer's I'm getting ready to attend a reunion for my high school and college swim and water polo team and got to thinking about us, and come to find out March 5, 2010 will be the 25 year anneversary of the rescue swimmer going operational, I know it's a way's off but I have decided to get a head start in designing a t-shirt to mark this historic event, I'm looking for any type of input so far I have come up with these items to put on the shirt.
1. March 5,1985 Rescue Swimmer goes operational
2. May 4, 1985 First Rescue Swimmer Rescue
3. April 9 1996 Advanced Rescue Swimmer School Opened.

How about sewing the arm holes shut. That got REAL common when the swimmer program came online and new ASM's forgot how to sew.

i believe Advanced Rescue Swimmer School opened in March, 1995; here's the group I was with that first month the school opened it's doors at Air Station Astoria:

not only a bunch of fugley rogues, but not one had a full set of teeth!
