Basic Training |
Any AST's out there willing to give me a workout routine? I'm not looking specifically for... Lift 500 lbs ten times 3 sets whatever. I am just curious about some of the stuff you guys do in school or after school. Push ups, sit-ups, running, swimming etc.
I grew up swimming for my school as well as in high school, so you can use swimming lingo if necessary. Thanks a bunch. Hobab |

This may not be an AST workout, but how about a SWAT workout?
The FBI instructors at their Basic SWAT Course advocate the following to stay in "SWAT" shape: Pushups, situps (or crunches), running, pullups, and dips. And if you only had one weight lifting exercise, squats. Squats work all of the major muscle groups of the body, which in turn work the minor ones, too. Simplicity. |

I started that year (1994) with sets of 30.
When I got deployed to Haiti (Sept '94), I was up to sets of 80. I was doing sets every morning, taking weekends off. Its up to you. |
