I was curious if anyone has found any over the counter appetite suppressants that are actually effective. I've tried Hydroxycut with hoodia as well as DEX-L10 hoodia. Neither one seemed to make a difference in my appetite. The biggest problem I am having is since I've been working out alot I've been eating more which has caused me to maintain the same weight. Any suggestions?

There is a hoodia product in costco by body choice it works very well. Also has a few other things in there to help with blood sugar, metabolism, antioxidants, and magnolia bark which keeps your cortisol levels healthy. Drink about an once a day.

You are eating more from working out cause you
re metabolism higher now. try a protein shake and eating more protein. Make sure and only take up to 25g of protein, anything else is a waste since our bodies can only digest 25g of protein at a time.

Question, what is your diet like???

I usually do fruit and oatmeal in the morning. Lunch is usually a Zone bar (well actually sometimes I'll have two =/). Dinner is typically a meat, vegetable and protein shake. I usually munch on snaks through out the day as well. Then at night I'll grab a snack before I go to bed, that might be what's killing me but I can't help it! Where can I buy this costco product though? I'm very interested.

Be real careful with this stuff.

Just because you can buy something legally does not mean that you can use it as a Navy member. For example, a few years ago there were some products sole openly at GNC that caused a positive urinalysis result. You may beat the rap, you may not.

Best is to instead look to foods that will tend to fill you vice using chemicals to reduce your desire for food. Find a diet program that will help you make better choices, especially with regard to what you will find in resturants, the commissary, and the galley.

Right on Boats ~

It's all about mind over matter, to minimizing / eliminating chemicals and drugs. If you want to keep your weight in check, eat less. Cut your portions in 1/2, then wait twenty minutes or so....

Me? A couple of years ago, my metabolism went sluggy. At the end of summer, my weight was same as my sluggish winter times. I am now 60. Used to be it, winter weight, went away "automatically" by end of summer.

No more! ..but since last August, i am down 25#, within a couple of pounds of my 18-22 year old prime weight of 180.

So far, so good ..no docs, no meds.

Female metabolism and genetics? Yes, it's way different, designed for different purpose than male.
