Anyone had to deal with this? Ive always assumed that I had a large chest (ugh) because of my weight, but the more I think about it the more I dread that I have gynecomastia and will have to have surgery...

Not sure what that will mean for a potential career in the armed forces.

Other than being a little embarrassing it will have no effect on a military career and if it bothers you that much you can have cosmetic surgery to rid yourself of the problem.

I have some excess fatty tissue on my chest, but I find that if I keep my weight down, it's not so much of a problem.

For my age and height, the Army wants me to be 194 max. If I stay around there, it's not so much a problem.
