I've had border line high blood pressure for along time, I have to take a physical for my CDL every two years, and I have to sit there for a while until it comes down, same when I went to MEPS in June, it was high, I thought they were going to DQ me but the lady started talking to me, and it came way down. The Doctor asked me about it, and I told him I've never been on any medication for it, they passed me. I'm 6'1 and 170 lbs, so I'm not over weight, I am a very worry some person, and people give me a hard time for being nervous all the time, I don't know if all this gives me High blood pressure. I do exercise by walking every night. Is there anything else that I could try to get it down, I got back into the Military with it, could they discharge me later for having it, or are you allowed to be on Medication...if that is what it came down to.
It almost sounds like you have "white coat" syndrome.
I'm not a medical professional but from what I do know and what you have just stated that is probably what it is. Just try and calm yourself down before it gets taken.
I went to Walmart and took it, mind you I hate going there, and it was crowded, it was 143 over 84, but the other day it was 136 over 80. I want to try and get it down on it's own, the only time I go to the doctor, is when I take a physical, so I guess I have to some how learn how to calm down. lol
