Give us an idea of what your doing now. What is your ideal goal for your weight and where are you at now?(btw, I realize its rude to ask a lady what her weight is, but we kinda need an idea to help.)

always start out slow im trying to get myself in better shape for RTC myself. i run for five mins and walk for three repeat for 30 mins. when i go home i do 100 situps and 100 pushups as well as going to the gym three times a week. as i get in better shape i up the difficulty of it all. the main thing is to stay motivated and take it slow worse than being out of shape is pushing your body to the point of injury.

I agree --start off slow. Sometimes when you're just starting out, it's fun to do it with a buddy or a group. Look into walking fitness classes at your local community college. Be sure to work on your core muscles everyday, varying the routine.
You also might want to check out yoga, which is all about concentration and focus on your breathing, balance, strength and has a lot of stretching. It's best to take a class 3x times a week. Just take "hatha yoga," not a "power yoga" or a hatha flow. You're just there to learn the basics and be with a lot of other people.
