Does anyone have this diet plan? Does anyone know where I can get this diet plan? Oh yeah, a recruiter gave it to me once before (ARNG), he got it online and I can't find it. I lost his number, can't get in touch with him. Please help.
Sorry I forgot to ad that it is the lose 10 in 3 days diet.
First, drink at least a gallon of water a day.
Then eat five grapefruit a day. Peal them like an orange, don't cut them in half and use a spoon. The high fiber will clean out your bowels.
eat and drink nothing else.
I dropped 15 pounds in six days, and more importantly (for the tape test) took two inches off my waist.
Did you actually keep it off or did it come right back?

Good God....you do realize that this 'diet' is totally unhealthy--right!?! You may flush some stuff out of your system, but your body will go into 'starvation' mode and anything you eat will be stored as FAT.....Use common sense people, please.

2-3 lbs a week is what you can lose healthy and is sustainable weight loss that you can keep off with only a smidgen of discipline and some exercise. Anything else is a fool's paradise. Thats on the mayo clinic website as well.
These fad / rapid loss diets are dangerous in that if your overweight and attempt this you can become light headed, dizzy and even pass out. Losing consciousness while overweight is not a good thing because your going to damage something in the fall.
I can lose 10-12 lbs a month without starving or much an alteration in normal eating habits just by increasing my physical activity. Does not have to be hardcore exercise either. Light stuff works just as good.
I bought a road bike for example and riding that is pretty low intensity, so is swimming / treading water, walking, etc.
Speaking of which, I think this forum needs a biking thread.
10 pounds in three days is
I don't know who told you to try this, but sounds to me like you are setting yourself up for failure here.
ErichG2 is on the money.
Before doing anything else, though, see a medical professional to find out what your goal weight should be and help you devise a plan to get there.

My friends dont like me.
I might be crazy, I will ask myself and find out.
That Erich, is very much correct. I am a big guy and I lost 50 pounds to a starvation diet, I was sick, weak and guess what, I gained it all back once I started eating and funny enough, I was healther when bigger cause of all the weakness, fatigue and being sick.
I have since lost some of the weight I have gained back, I may not LOOK as good, but I feel better and I still have good BP and Vitals.
So yeah, take it easy, and just a hint most of those pills are weak at best, if you actually read the labels, everyone one of them say the same thing, eat less and healthy and exercise, DUH, if you do that you will lose weight regardless, the pills do not help much.
At least from what I have seen and my doctor told me....
Be safe, exercise and eat good, thats all you really need.

I let things slide over the years being in the computer field.
I started with the Mayo Clinic website in 2007. I am going at a fairly relaxed pace and will be at within my recommended weight range within another 4 months. So that will be 1 year after I started and includes about 3 months falling off the wagon because of time constraints or learning / lack of motivation.
It gets easier once you get into it but it does get more difficult as you lose weight to keep up the pace of loss and there are weight plateaus sometimes (because I am going at a slow pace).
Since I am not in a hurry I take a week off from the exercise every now and then to see if I do put the weight back on and that helps me learn how to adjust food portion/eating to activity level.
There is a guy I work with that lost a huge amount, even had to buy new clothes and shoes. It's kind of gross but you'll find your feet splay out as you get really heavy, resulting in needing a larger shoe size.
I don't think my shoe size will be impacted when I am done but I will need new clothes.
One thing you do have to be careful of in your 30's and 40's is if your losing weight and working out in a Gym if you get light-headed or dizzy....stop the workout. It has happened to me twice. It's an indication that your activity level has far exceeded your food intake. It was accidental both times it happened to me as I was pushing too hard. So even when your careful that happens sometimes.
I don't know. If it's just a one-time, 3 day thing to squeeze into a party dress, or whatever, is it really that awful? Can you take vitamins with it?
Most of us put worse crap in our bodies on a daily basis; especially this time of year. God knows, I put a lot of eggnog... well, nevermind that.
Seriously, how awful is this diet if its just a 3 day detox flush sort of thing? I'm asking nicely.. not debating. I could see 10 days, but 3 days?
I got a fantastic result by using this suit called Realsauna Suit which was recommended to me by my wife's trainer. This suit will incredibly make you sweat your *** off. I got fast result and the weight stayed off. It has been 7 months 13 days now since I bought them and I am still losing amazing amount of weight every time I got on a scale (I Lost 87Lbs in total so far). I bought this suit online at www.realsaunasweatsuit.com for $99 and it is worth it for me. I can't complain. It is durable, machine washable and fashionable.
When My DH decided to re-enlist in the ARMY, he needed to lose some weight and he got that lose 10# in 3 day diet thing, man that it is a lot of food to eat and no, you don't lose 10# in 3 days. It just gets you motivated to start exercising and eating healthier. It did us.
My DH, has lost almost 40# in 3 1/2 months. I on the other hand, have only lost about 10# and gained 3 of it back after our Disney World trip a week after Thanks Giving...lol..But I'm back on track now. I get up at 6:30am every morning M-F and go to the Gym. Even when I just want to sleep in, I start thinking of how I would feel if I did not work out, so I get my butt up and go..(yes, in the beginning it was hard to do) Also, I find that taking a bottle of water to drink while working out, helps me with energy. I have to go slow though or I will give up, I add in a little extra work out about every 4weeks.
I just know that drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day, eat healthier and exercise at least 5days a week really works for me. In stead of eating out...eat at home: you save money, gas, time and weight...lol
We look at ALL food labels when we shop. We go once a week instead of for the whole month, as we are getting more of veggies and fruits. We eat Salmon and Tuna a lot more now. and Boiled Chix.
You don't have to starve yourself, or pay Jenny, or Weight Watchers to lose weight. Just use your own brain and JUSDOIT!
You do not want to lose more than 2-3lbs a week. If you are overweight, eat right and exercise and you will drop the pounds. It’s not difficult. Log your calories, find out how many calorie you need each day to maintain your currently body weight then deduct 500 and eat that. I count calories even though I am not trying to lose weight. I want to maintain enough caloric intake to feed my muscles and keep the fat off.
I know some people need to lose major poundage fast for taping, weigh-ins, boot camp eligibility, etc. Don’t let yourself get to that point. You will end up doing something totally unhealthy to pass whatever criteria you need to pass. But you think hey it’s okay. After all you are only doing it once in a while. Sorry but I have to dissent. It is wrong and horrible for you. Don’t do it.
Discipline people! Discipline!
Here is the diet:
Day 1 Breakfast: black tea or coffee, 1/2 a grapefruit, 1 piece of toast with 2 Tablespoon of peanut butter. *I have heard that splenda or stevia is and isn’t allowed, your choice. Lunch: 1/2 cup tuna, 1 piece dry toast, black coffee or tea. Dinner: 3 ounces lean meat, 1 cup green beans, 1 cup carrots, 1 apple, 1 cup vanilla ice cream.
Day 2 Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 slice dry toast, 1/2 banana, black coffee or tea. Lunch: 1 cup cottage cheese OR tuna. and 5 saltine crackers. Dinner: two hot dogs NO BUN. 1 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream.
Day 3 Breakfast: one apple, 1 ounce cheddar cheese, five Saltine brand crackers, black tea or coffee. Lunch: one hard-boiled egg, one slice dry toast. Dinner: 1 cup tuna, 1 cup carrots, 1 cup cauliflower, 1 cup melon, and 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream.
You're supposed to do this for 3 days, then normal eating for 4, then back to this for 3. I've had friends do it and they lost inches and pounds, but like with most fad diets, did not keep off the weight. They did say they felt full and had the energy to do 30 min of cardio each day...
