End of April this year I went to a recruiter for the army and was told I weigh 385 w/a 44% bf. So yesterday I went back to weigh again and was told I weigh 335 w/a 36% bf. That is a lost of 50 lbs and 8% bf in 6 months. They told me I need to lose 10 more inches off my stomach to join. So by End of March of 08' I want to reach my goal. So that gives me 5 months to lose 10 inches. Here is what I have been doing.
MWF= pushups, situps, and moderate weight lifting with high reps 15-20 3-4 sets of each, 1 hr of cardio walking or eliptical
TThSat=Run/jog/walk 2-3 miles outside
Clean diet no sugars, low carbs, nothing white(bread, potatoes, rice, etc.) Also drinking protein shakes and taking multi vitamins.
I will update as often as can. Any suggestions are appreciatied. Thanks
It is easy to put on but very hard to take off. (doing the safe way anyway) At least you are in and have to keep weight. i have to lose about 70 more to just enlist. Oh well nobody said it would be easy. If it was everybody would be thin. Good luck
I'm not in yet. I'll be applying for OCS and hopefully will board around March next year, between now and then I'll be losing as much weight and getting in shape as I can.
Yeah I'm still around. Just been really busy with work and working out. I hit a 3 1/2 month plateau. Last week I lost 13 pounds. Lost 2 inches off my stomach. It is great that I started losing again. I started really getting down about busting my tail and no results. So I'm glad to start seeing results again. I will start updating more now.
