I went to do some military presses at the gym a few weeks ago. I started out low, around 30lbs just to warm the muscles up. On my first attempt, I had severe pain shoot up into my left shoulder. Felt like someone jammed a spoon into my shoulder joint.

3 weeks later, the pain is no worse, but now it is radiating down the arm and into my hand. It's not really bad, but its annoying enought to keep me up at night.

It hurts to put my coat on, and I can't lift it above my head without pain...again, its not horrile pain, but its burning/throbbing pain. Shoots down from the top of my shoulder, down the back of the bicep into the elbow, and hand.

I don't know if I should go to the doctor, or just give it a few more weeks to heal...or even what to do with a shoulder injury.

That's another thing; I don't remember doing anything to injure my shoulder, so I have to wonder if its just arthritis, or what.

Really don't want to go to the doctor...

Any suggestions what might be causing this? Home remedies?
