Is there a simple 20 minute workout regiment military or not, that I can do everyday and just keep me in shape really breaking a good sweat. As a student, I really dont have time to go to the gym, so something simple and that I can do at home would be awesome. Thanks

If the joining the military and serving your country is a priority of yours I'd surely make exercising for at least an hour a few times a week a priority as well.
I'm sure you have time, you most likely just need to prioritize things. |

I am a huge fan of the following 4 exercises as a foundation for getting in overall good shape (both strength and anaerobic conditioning):
Burpees: http://www.teamruthless.com/Burpee_NEW.wmv Dumbbell thrusters: http://www.teamruthless.com/Dumbbell_Thrusters_NEW.wmv Dumbbell swings (although easier with kettlebell): http://www.teamruthless.com/2_Arm_Dumbbell_Swings_NEW.wmv and Man Makers (the single hardest exercise out there...IMHO): http://www.teamruthless.com/Man_Makers_NEW.wmv |

The TRX Suspension Trainer is great for a quick whole-body workout. It also only weighs 2 pounds and travels nicely so workouts can be done at home and on the road...even hotel rooms.
Deleted website and promotion code.. Read the TOS especially paragraph #6 advertiserment-solicitation (which you are in violation of! You're posts are disruptive(spam), therefore you are suspended for ten days. Don't repeat this behaviour.. This message has been edited. Last edited by: pipedreamsandbabies, |

Sure!
Try yoga. You don't need any equipment, you can do it in the house and it's a great warm up for other types of exercise. I'd recommend taking a class. Also --don't be intimidated! Even though yoga classes are full of lean and skinny types, it's for everyone and if you look there are lots of biggies and in-betweens as well. Long, lean muscle is the stuff that'll keep you going into your 80's. |
