Eat, eat, eat, i know its old and tired, but its the only way. Walk around feeling like your about to puke 24/7, you should feel like post thanksgiving dinner every waking hour of the day. Trust me, youll grow, add some high protein, moderate carb shakes in before bedtime and youll add some weight. Supplementkingdom.com will help you!

125x10-1250x1.8=2250

2250+500=2750

2750/6=458 calories.

It can be debated and proven but the more you run in terms of time the more weight you can gain. This means water, muscle, lean tissue and fat weight. After a long running workout you can gain up to 7 pounds. Strength training increases muscle weight and running increases lean muscle weight. Try and keep track of calories consumed.

Most long distance runners are rail thin. Because running burns the fat resreves in a most substantive way.

If I wanted to gain weight I would eat and lift.

Most skinny people "think" they eat a lot but really dont.
Like any body change the best way, IMO, is to take it slow. There are lots of formulas to figure out how many calories you should consume, but I would do it this way: Keep very strict track of how many calories you take in. Dont worry about fat/protien/carbs (of course you should aim for 1 to 1.5 grams of protien per pound of body weight and make sure you eat clean healthy fats like fish, nuts). Weigh yourself ONCE a week AT THE SAME TIME OF DAY. Aim for 1 pound increase per week. If you dont gain then EAT MORE. I would increase calories about 200 per day.

So if I weighed in on Monday week one at 184 and week two at 184 and i was eating, for example, 2000 calories a day..I would increase to 2200. The reason for this is that it is much easier and better to add muscle and not fat.

You could just start eating like a powerlifter or offensive lineman, but the above is a little more sane Smile

Eating six time a day is optimal.
It sounds like a lot, but you have to give your body a reason to carry more weight. Your body does not want to and you have about 100,000 years of evolution against you.
