Anyone have any good running programs to help me get faster? I want to run a marathon this October in a reasonable amount of time. (i.e. faster than the old woman next to me)
30/60's or 60/120's help out the most. IE: Sprint as fast as you can for 30 seconds or 60 seconds, and then walk fast or jog for 60 seconds or 120 seconds. Another one that I like to do which not only helps you get faster but burns body fat is sprinting hard for 8 seconds and jogging for 12 seconds for about 20 minutes.
