Basic Training |
Try adding to your daily diet:
Cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon can keep your blood pressure and triglcyerides at amazing levels. Pomegranate Juice- 2 oz a day contains an unbelivable amount of anti oxidents. About 50 times as much as a cup of green tea. Blueberries- Loads of anti oxidents. Flax seed- One of the easiest ways to increase your fiber intake. Put them on yogart, oatmeal, whatever. |

Basic Training |
I used to eat oatmeal for breakfast every single day for about 2 years. It was the healthiest habit I ever had. I kind of got burnt out on it but I think I'll start doing that again.
I also love adding wheat germ to yogurt. Wheat germ can be kind of expensive but I love it. It's also good to eat lots of fish for the omega fatty acids. But watch out for mercury, the bigger the fish the more mercury it has. Light tuna has less mercury than regular tuna. I used to be a health freak... |

ditch all "white" starches for "brown" starches.
i.e. brown rice instead of white rice. wheat bread instead of white bread. no potatoes. |
