The way I look it not happy for both pilot one of them on the job since 1985 and another since 1997 sometime. I think should gave them another chance because this fly still inside US territory, what if this plane flew over international airport without schedule than do the pilot face with international too.
I think wonder sometime 1996 their was a plane landing wrong aiport schedule, I wonder what happen to this fly ? |

Both the pilot and the co-pilot have had their licenses revoked.

Both the pilot and co-pilot should have their license revoked! The passengers put their lives in the hands of the pilot and co-pilot.
They lacked total professionalism. Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to! |

Regarding the landing at the wrong airport, was it a TWA Flight.... The Wrong Airport.....
Sorry... Couldn't Resist... I live over a Jet way called "Broadway" between NY and Chicago and have a scanner set to listen to the traffic in the summer. It works great for storm warnings as the flights vector off for weather. Wondered if the pilots had Wifi access? |

Being done on another thread - but there was also a case last week the a airliner landed on a taxi-way instead of the runway. Luckily, no planes had been cleared to enter the taxi-way. I'm not aware of the particulars -
Hear they are: ATLANTA -- A Delta Air Lines flight from South America, landing at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport early Monday morning ended up landing on a taxiway instead of a runway. Delta flight 60, a Boeing 767 operating nonstop from Rio de Janeiro to Atlanta with 194 passengers and crew onboard was approaching Hartsfield Jackson on Monday morning at 6:05 after a near ten hour flight from Brazil. The FAA says the captain declared a medical emergency with a sick person onboard. He was cleared to land on Hartsfield's runway 27 Right. Then the bizarre occurred. Despite white lights along the runway and lights to guide the pilot and the aircraft to the active runway, the plane touched down on the adjacent taxiway, the route planes use to slowly get to the runways and wait in line. It is lit with blue lights. The FAA says the aircraft completed a full landing roll on the taxiway, and then made a turn off the taxiway to the terminals. The FAA says because of the early hour no planes were on the taxiway when Flight 60 touched down. The FAA adds that to their knowledge, no aircraft as ever landed on a Hartsfield taxiway before. Weird The only thing I can figure is he got his whites and blues mixed up, or couldn't tell the difference for some reason - - Wandering and Wondering |

We have some friends in Colorado, they are both pilots and have their own planes. Their home is about 50 feet from a private runway they share with about 10 neighbors.
They have a hangar for their planes. While we were there a mechanic was working on one of the planes. When he got done, he took the plane for a test flight. As he's comming down the runway,he pulls the plane up just as he was passing the house. He cleared the house by about 15 feet. I don't remember how long the runway is, but thier house is not quite half way between the ends of the runway. Our friend told me the mechanic does that a lot, I don't think I'd fly with that guy. He's probably a competent pilot, but that is crazy. When we lived by Crane Lake,MN., there was a bush pilot who lived there. He did some crazy things with his plane. Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to! |
