Just curious what people think about these meetings of the "minds". My own opinion is I hope they knew and know what they're doing and have the "little people" best interest in mind.I can hope can't I?

Their only interest in little (read: normal) people is keeping us convinced that the paper in our wallets and decimal points in our bank accounts mean something.

The world financial headgame just needs a little affirmation like self esteem: "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggonit, people like me"

Here is a simple reality - Consider ever dollar you have, work for or spend to really be a dime, and you'll know how much things are really worth, or how little your money and you are worth, since your wages are what you are being paid for you life.... We Americans are selling ourselves pretty cheap these days - -

We're worth whatever we think we're worth. Just like the $ since Bretton Woods I.

Makes me wonder if there isn't some wisdom in Islamic banking.

Banking in America is simply legalized thievery -

You go to a bank and ask for a loan to buy a home. They loan you somebody else's money only after they make you sign a piece of paper guaranteeing that you will pay 3 or 4 times the value of the home to them over 30 years before they will give you the deed -

Now that is legal thievery of the first magnitude -
