Never mind the snotty remarks about New Jersey's vegetables and "fruits". Stop insulting my native state. New Jersey is known as The Garden State for the simple reason that that's where the New York Mafia plants its bodies.

Sarah Palin has scared the chit out of Alaska's libs. I like the way she shakes up the tree-huggers.

Maybe that's why Leno made the "compost" joke - -

Well, it's a case of the common people voting for the person they want, freely and without pressure or threat. They get the one that receives more than 50% of the vote, and that's the way it is - FREEDOM. . . Doesn't mean they'll always pick a genius, but that's some of the fun of it too - Anybody can try to be President . . .

Aha, amigo , in a developed country sometimes the election seems like a farce. In our developing country, we do need genius to deal with all those disasters happened day to day. that's because our country has not completed many of the rules and we have to fix the working way of the huge country to match the better one.

You are developing - yet ancient and wise at the same time. I am amazed at the giant Dam Project you are building on the Yangtze River. There was a long documentary on it on one of our "History" Channels here not too long ago. Amazing!! Harnessing water to make electricity while providing irrigation water and good drinking water for millions is a great and proper thing to do. But the documentary also said that whole cities of people were forced off their lands without much help or compensation so the Dam could fill with water. That type of harsh pushing aside of people does not happen here - -

More likely a torrid relationship with a salmon.

For the moment, give her the benefit of a doubt. Palin isn't your typical sleazy politician. Maybe she's simply telling the truth. Wouldn't that be refreshing? Americans aren't accustomed to hearing the truth from a politician, especially in more recent times. She might even restore some old-fashioned faith in government. We haven't had much of that in a long while.

Well, the problem I see is a political light-weight being foisted on desperate conservative mainstream grassroot people for all the wrong reasons, instead of finding someone who really has any kind of political clue - -

This will sound Chauvinistic, and certainly radical liberal types will jump on it as such, but as troubled as her family appears to be, with evidently not a whole lot of guidance and direction coming from her husband because of the hard daily requirements of his occupation, maybe she needs to go home and try being a mother first - despite the fact that it is an endeavor that gets short shrift these days - -
