My Husband made a 83 on his ASVAB and most of the jobs he put down and MEPS where intel and computer jobs that required a score of in the 70s and he put down open general. (Please I don't need people saying he shouldn't have done that). He shipped out last week with open general 43 I think on his contract and I wanted to know what that meant. I heard from someone that if it says 43 then he can't get any jobs that are higher then that, is that true? I wouldn't think it would be since he scored higher and when he went to MEPS they didn't tell him he couldn't do the jobs that you needed a higher scores to get. His recruiter said that it meant that you can get jobs from 43 and up and not 43 and below.
