I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS TO A SOLDIER THAT IS ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSUALTING SOMEONE? ( I KNOW A FRIEND WHO HAS BY 3 AT ONCE AND THEY THINK THAT NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN THEY ARE ALL THE THE ARMY WHAT DO YOU THINK, IS GOING TO MOSY LIKELY HAPPEN OR WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?

Our hearts go out to your friend. The friend will need you to stand by them through thick and thin. To be a shoulder to cry on when all they can do is cry, a friend to laugh with when laughing seems impossible. Your friend ship will be more of a brother/sister than a friend.

The army and "The Uniform Code of Military Justice" (UCMJ) is the court that these people will face.

I would strongly recommend this site US Army Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Program

You as a friend need to visit the site and follow all of the links so that you understand the program and are able to help your friend understand the program/process.

Your friend needs to be sure that the change of command of is in the picture all the way. The friend Will also need to have competent counseling. I believe that your friend needs to work within the system where possible, Your friend also needs to work hard "not blab the story" all around.

Your friend will also need the resources of installation's mrfivsl team, the JAG office and the in chaplains' office. Please remember that justice is not always very fast and sometimes it is unfair.

Another suggestion would be for her to start and keep a detail account of her life before and through the assault and up to date. But that log should be absolutely off limits to all but those approved by her JAG attorney.

No matter what happens in the court process, you friend still heeds a safer, happier and healthier life that transcends this horrible crime.

Old love is very wise- your friend will needs lots of help and lots of time. You will have to walk a thin line- helping without overcompensating. I will keep your friend in my prayers- please give them my sympathy & concern. Crud like this makes me very angry, it must be stopped and should have never happened. Tell your friend to stay strong, they have a lot of support.

IF it really happened, then I completely agree. However, there have been far too many cases of a drunk chick looking for some and then screaming rape later for me to just buy into any story. None of the soldiers I ever served with had what it would take to assault a young lady. Maybe we were a different breed...

actually to be honest it happened to me I was afraid to let anyone know but I feel really stupid that I called the police I feel like nothing will be done about the whole situation.

Should immediatley went a hospital and have semen samples for DNA evidence.

A guy at Ft. Bragg was charged with rape and assult with a deadly weapon... the gal said he held a P-38 to her neck if she...... well, you get the picture.

With that he was my ex and me and him had consentual sex with him and after that he didnt let me put on my clothes before he opened the door and he and his friend then sexual assualted me by giving me unwanted oral sex and I was pushing him off but he just kept on doing it and my ex was holding me down while his friend performed oral sex on we and another friend watched and then his friend attepted to have sex with me I kept kicking and my ex was holding down my legs and I couldnt fight back because my arm was dislocated back in july from him and he took my phone and I was unable to call for help and his friend kinda fought me and he wanted me to give him oral sex and my ex pulled a butcher knife on me and told me not to tell or he would kill me but he never stuck his you know what in me because I started crying and he just stopped and I dont know if the police would do anything and its been like two days since its happened and I havent received a call from the detective, I'm so scared because he still keep calling me
