Don't you just love it when something nice happens?

There's an airport about 30 miles outside of New York City. It's a small airport on State owned propery. Over the years I've noticed a small group of plane watchers there almost daily. Some have scanners and binoculars. Most are retirees. They're wonderful people who just like to watch planes land and take off. I've spotted Elton John, Steve Guttenberg, and Danny Devito traveling out of there.

There's a regular there named Burt. He's a very large man who lives with his mother. He delivers newspapers in the morning. He's probably the most knowledgeable man I know about airplanes. I just ran into Burt at the diner. My wife and I stopped there for dinner and we exchanged greetings. Upon finishing our meal, I was surprised Burt picked up our check. I didn't want him to do this, because I suspect he has limited means. To my surprise, Burt announced he just won 1.1 million dollars in the State Lottery. He returned to the airport diner, because that's where all his friends are.

Burt is still delivering morning papers. But he's doing it in a brand new car.

I have the pictures of the church and of how Hahn Air Base looks like now. The only problem is how to send it to you. Let me know how.

Sam should be back by now. I guess he doesn't realize his suspension was reduced from 40 days to 10. Sure wish there was a way I could let him know.

Now I can say this don't be calling any body names,don't be spamming , and don't addvertise any thing with out permission. O - one more thing don't put the president down, all of this may get you suspened from the fourm. so take care, be nice, and be carefull not to end up suspened, its not fun. and you can't talk to your friends.

Its good to have some one to help you out in the fighting ring. you have to take a punch how and then. But it wasn't a Nock - Out. just bam! a left hook. You have to play by there rules, which ever thay may be.so now we stand up again. I will call time out the next hit I get.

Good Morning T X Brinkhous: How are you doing I have been up for some time now its 7:07am now just looking over my e-mail there is not much. But today has just started.

Hey all. Still waiting to see how he is going to be. Time only will tell. I have a doctor appointment on 11 Sept. They will do another test to see if blood flow is good.I feel better now that they took out 15 staples. I can't believe that I can't walk for 6 months. This is very boring.

I, too, had nothing exciting in my inbox this morning, Sam, but I have this pile of work on my desk! I'm muddling through it, I suppose.

Maine-I'm not sure the entire story of yourself, but I can only imagine what it must be like not to walk for that long! I hope you are progressing as well. I didn't realize there was something going on with you also.

Well, I fell off a step ladder three weeks ago and shattered my leg and ankle. I walked on it some thinking I only sprained it and did alot of damage. 12 screws, a 10 inch plate, 35 or more stitches, 15 staples. Let's say family luck and breaking legs are in the air.

Still pray for my nephew he needs it.

Earlier when I was talking about the Air Force K 9 guy, I was hopeing one would come out of the wood work, because we had two of them with us on the bus ride. It would just be nice to hear from them again. I talked with my SGM that was with us, "the other day" and didn't he laugh remembering what we did. He still thinks I am one of the best bus drivers he has ever seen. hahaha
