I thought it's about time to open a post on anything that comes to mind. Introduce yourself, where you from, what's the worst thing you've done drunk, comments. Go ahead you precipitous-fuddy duddy!

I have 3 kids at home and a big-screen TV. It's to bad that none of them work.

My big-screen TV did not work too, so we gut it out and put a fish tank in its place.

I was at the bank this morning. I couldn't help notice a nurse there. She was a woman of 70 years trying to endorse a check using a rectal thermometer. I politely mentioned, "Mam, do you realize what you're doing?"

She looked down and recognized her mistake and said, "Guess some arshole has my pen."

We are getting ready to move soon. I am almost done organizing.
Had a nice Instant Messaging conversation with my son in Iraq today and got to see him over the web-cam. Can't wait for him to come home in about a month or two to his wife and little girl in Germany .
It'll be one less worry to carry with me.

Thoughts: I want rain and cooler weather.
My TV is too small even for a fish tank.

My wife and I belong to a small non-sectarian church. The entire congregation is maybe 100 people. Every Sunday we begin services with prayer for our US Troops. This week will be no different. We'll have your son and his family in our thoughts and words.

He was hit by an IED about 6 weeks ago, he is ok now. He said he knows that God was watching over him that day.

Good post, Cyn.

My turn:

I don't like to say I'm from New York, cause I don't want to be associated with the crazies in the big city. I say I'm from Long Island, which is about 28 miles from downtown, Manhatten. But that's a very far 28 miles. At rush hour it could be a 2 hour drive.

Air Force veteran, former K-9 handler.

Occupation-Well I can't fix anything. I hate to paint, so I'm involved with "Irish Welfare". I'm a cop.

Worst thing ever done drunk-After the St. Patrick's Day Parade one year, I had to get up very early one morning to change the sheets in bed. Don't give me a hard time, I'm quite sure I'm not the only man who's ever pee'd when he wasn't supposed to!

That is so funny! But now you have a stain on your mattress. When I was in the Army over Germany my roomate came in w/friends to get him to his room,
he took one foot step in and fell to the floor, I than took the blankit off his bed and put it over
him, the next morning he woke up and said "where am I" It was very funny too me he was so mess up that he did not know where he was or how he got there.

We have to analyze this from a purely mathmatical position. If the US has over 200 million people, we can assume there's at least 100 million men in this country. With such enormous numbers in my favor, I can't be the only guy who has had an "incident".

I'm sure many successful men have experienced similiar mishaps; perhaps even presidents. We don't have to be outcasted. If I beatup Mike Tyson, I would be proud of my feat, so peeing in bed doesn't make me a despicable guy. And if you don't completely agree that this wasn't a normal biological function, then answer this question mathmatical equation-How come mattresses are on sale everyday? Cool

Sam, lawyers hate me in court. This is because I can talk all day long. There's been times the defense has called a recess and returned to plea bargain negotiations, because I won't shut up. I'll put the jurors in my shoes and they'll eventually see it my way and agree on a certain conviction. In 2004 I had 5 seperate jury trials with all resulting in convictions. One involved an arrest which resulted after a foot pursuit. I testified the defendant bolted from me and ran away. As we were running, he was looking back to see how much ground he was gaining. Unfortunately for him, he didn't see a parked truck. His facial area ran straight into the truck and he collapsed with minor injuries. The jurors immediately broke out in laughter. The defense called for a break and he pled guily in a conference. He knew he was done for.

I can go to Central Park and find a statute. He's then mine for at least a 40 minute conversation. So pardon me if I don't shutup sometimes.

Thanks everybody for your thoughts and prayers.

I get to Instant Message him almost every day now. It's draining sometimes. He has a few problems with his wife, but I don't want to get involved, because I am sure they will kiss and make up when he gets back home in another month or two and then I will be the bad guy if I say anything now.

SamSp4 where were you stationed in Germany. We were in Muenster Depot,Babenhausen and Wiesbaden. It was so much fun.

Know what you mean. Overseas duty is totally different from State side.
Your story was funny about the drunk guy. We had some of those. It was funny seeing the Newbies come to Germany, try the beer for the first time and pass out all over the place. Hillarious.
My husband had new guys come to his unit who came from New York city and other large cities. They were the funniest on field exercises, especially down in Bavaria. They were scared of wild boar and cows and had a fit if one came to the area they were in.

I was at Hahn, AFB, Germany, from 1973-75. It was up by Koblenz, but we traveled everywhere. It wasn't a modern base. It didn't have a gym, library, or a church. So a number of us leased a barn a half mile off base and we built or own church. I did spackling and sheetrock work. Many others did what they could. The church was just about completed before I left. The base has long been closed now and I always wonder what happened to the church we constructed. Seems like there's no other way for me to find out, but to fly over there someday and look for myself.
