Why in the world would Obama even consider this woman for such an important position? She has a boundless quench for power and not any serious foreign policy experience. Is this becoming an honorary position? Powell has been the only one in recent years to be worthy of the slot.

And the Arab world will laugh at another unclean woman.

Look, the world wants Hillary as SofS so they can see Billy, so why not just make Billy SofS and get it over with??? As for Hillary, give her Health and Human Services, cuz that's supposedly her area of expertise anyway - -

Actually, from what I've read the thing that would possible nix the Hiliary thing is her husband's extensive international business dealings which may present a conflict of interest. That would also preclude her husband taking the job not to mention once you have been president why would you take a demotion. I think the only President who went on to another position was Garfield who became a supreme court justice (correct me if I'm wrong on this part)

Garfield was assassinated 6 months into his term as President...

Taft was Chief Justice after his presidency

We'll never get rid of the Klintoons. I wouldn't be surprised to see Obama nominate Slick Willy to the SCOTUS.

I don't think Bill Clinton could be Sec. of State because it is a position that is 4th inline as successor to the president, and Bill has already served two terms.

So much for change. After 28 years of either a Bush or a Clinton in a key leadership position I was beginning to look forward to a few new faces. It will be interesting to see what the spinmeisters do with this one.

Unfortunately, anytime a new Administration comes in they like to reach back to the last time someone from that party was in power. Why I don't know but that seems to be the way it is.

Honestly what is the chance someone that is 4th in line will ever get there. Every one around here seems to hate Nancy Pelosi but isn't she 3rd in line being the Speaker of the House? A lot would have to happen to make that happen too.

When was the last time that the 4th inline made it to President? The first three would have to all go at once.
