Subject: Presidential comparison

The way the media loves this guy, if he broke wind in public, they'd compare

it to the Gettysburg Address . . .

Subject: Presidential comparison quiz

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics,

would you have approved? that would show stupidity - NO

If George W. Bush had given Tony Blair a set of inexpensive and useless (to

Tony Blair's UK video formatting) DVDs, when Tony Blair had given him a

thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved? Funny - NO

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos

of his speeches, would you have approved? LOL - NO

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia , would you have

approved? NO

If George W Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the

non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor

slip? NO

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people

who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have

approved? NO

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation,

even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have

approved? NO

If George W Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken

more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved? NO

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10

years, would you have approved? I'm Not Stupid---NO

But his joking about sending us to war over nonexistent WMDS was a real hoot wasn't it!

I guess that would be up to Tony Blair since it was a gift to him. Why would I get upset?

BTW...I lived in the UK for 3 years and had no problem at all watching American movies on DVD/VHS. and I f I could do it I bet the PM of the UK could too.

well since the Queen requested it...nah...doesn't make me upset at all.

It didn't bother me when he kissed him and held his hand

Not quite as upset as had he filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who keep awarding Gov. Contracts to people and companies they worked for.

I might be upset by that. Good thing no recent president has ordered the firing of a CEO.

well he went from 5 trillion to 9 trillion. so it was close to doubling it.

too bad he didn't do it due to an economic crisis, but because he lowered taxes while starting a war and increased spending.

Not what I would call a quiz but pointing out the amount of slack the media cuts Obama compared to Bush is well taken.

Time to get upset. The president "asked" the
CEO of GM step down. Was he really expected to decline with billions of government money at stake? He fired the man. It's all about semantics.

The Obama administration asked GM CEO Rick Wagoner to step down, according to numerous reports.

According to Politico:

The Obama administration asked Rick Wagoner, the chairman and CEO of General Motors, to step down and he agreed, a White House official said.

The White House confirmed Wagoner was leaving at the government's behest after The Associated Press reported his immediate departure, without giving a reason.
