What's goin on every1!? I leave for BMT January 26, 2010 and my AFSC is Airfield Management Apprentice.
Anyone else have that job or leave on that date? I've done research on the job but I prefer to hear about the day to day responsibilities from someone that experiences them First hand...

While I was in, I had to deal a lot with those folks - fuel, food, supplies, billeting, scheduling, transportation, etc etc etc Nuts and Bolts of any military facility - but a nightmare too...

If you volunteered to do that as a career - have fun and buy lots of rolaids...yer gona need 'em.

just so you know itzy...... my scores were in the 140 range and allowed me to choose any ocupation I wished so "idiot" is misdirected... Now, don't go crying and deleting the thread... who knows, you may just get some kinder responses yet, and i am saddened as I di think my first and second replies were of help., ie, choose something you can use later on in life....

Hey, what do you mean?? It was the E-3 Mosquito Wing that had the clipboard with all the papers on it that you had to sign in triplicate to get a box of MREs or get yer laundry out of hock, let alone get a billet for the night! Officers may run and Air Field, but Air Field Management OWNS IT!- -
