I have an ELS discharge for the United States Army and I want to join a different branch, but I'm not sure if they will accept me. My DD 214 form says my separation authority is "chapter 11" my Separation code is "JGA" and my Re-entry Code is a "3". My reason for Separation is "entry level performance and conduct". Will I be able to get back into the military?

You couldn't make it through basic training. I I doubt anyone else would even try to sign you up. RE3 pretty well clinches it. The services very rarely give out second chances. Sorry. This message has been edited. Last edited by: azmax64,

JGA - Entry level status performance and conduct or entry level status performance - pregnancy
One Flag......One Heart......One Nation............EVERMORE
Right now and for the next few yeas, the answer is NO,
God and the soldier, All men adore, In time of trouble, And no more; For when war is over, And all things righted, God is neglected - The old soldier slighted.

Most people would research the significance of military life before they sign up!
Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to!
