You know I have no problem with Mexicans coming to our country to work. They are not a threat to us. They do the jobs that most Americans won't and can't do.

At the rate Americans are being laid off thanks to Clintons demand to Finanace housing even if they don't qualify for the loan. Banks losing their azz'z for loaning money, Bad decisions by both Parties in the last 20 yrs. God help us. And now with a man that wants to give citizenship to 12-20,000 and make them eligible for social security even tho they never paid in a dime. Plus medi-cade, welfare, I can see this country totally Bankrupt in a couple yrs if not so now. Foriegn countries are buying chunks of the USA for Billions in loans, How can we pay them back.??

The problem isn't with those who seek gainful employment and pay taxes.

It's the illegals who are not contributing to society are, getting welfare and social security. They are leeches and they make a bad impression for those who contribute to society.

A Mexican family purchased a home across the road from us, they have three children. The husband/father is a cabinet maker. the wife/mother is a stay at home mom. The home and the yard are well maintained, the children are well behaved and always clean.

I don't blame anyone for wanting to come here to live and for a better life.

Their own country is pimping them out because they know they work here and send money back home and get health care here.

The only thing is we have to have some law and order and it is the disrespect of breaking our laws that I find most offensive.

I can't do it in their country.

I think we need a workers program that would allow them to work here and go home and pay for their own car insurance, health care taxes etc

I don't think a workers program should mean auto American citizenship nor should any of their children born here while on a workers program be Americans

They have to apply and be accepted like everyone else.

We have to have some control over the flow or our system will break down, like it is.

Maybe we need to process things faster or have more people doing the paper work but that does not mean you break the law for your own gain.

You must apply legally, you must wait in line like everyone else.

We are not wrong for wanting to control our boarders, protect our laws any more than they are wrong for wanting to come to America for a better life.

The bad economy is taking care of the "illegal" problem.

I was thinking that same thing. Some of those jobs that they say American's wont do might be looking pretty good right now.

You know a house keeper where I live in southern California gets $20 an hour! So does the pool man, so does the landscape guy.

I am thinking not too many retail jobs pay that.

What is min wage right now?

California minimum wage is $8.00 ... I think.
