someone told me there is a program that a veteran spouse, even tho the veteran is deceased ,can receive money to help pay for a "sitter service" for the spouse. my dad was in the Navy in the 40's for two years. before his death he did receive help from the VA clinic in our home town.. my mom is now 80 and needs 24/7 care at home. have you heard of this program? Thanks for any info.

It's nice to know once in a while that people notice the small things I do. The regular croud does, but a lot of the drifters just talk trash and then whine.

Dawg there a lot of us who know you are a great asset on this site,we just like to whine from time to time as it relieves the stress.Seriously though helping the wives and families of our fallen brothers is the best of the many things you can do.We apprecaite it!
