I am going to remember all of you in my prayers,

If any of you will be on long term antibiotics you will also need to remember to take
a supplement like apple pectin or eat some yogurt to replenish the good bacteria in your
system. If you don't you can wind up with a yeast infection from the loss of your good bacteria. All antibiotics kill ALL Bacteria and you must have the good stay in your
system.

I learned about this from long term use of antibiotics for Lyme Disease. I also have to
take supplements for long term use of anti viruls for the chronic infection of the spine
caused by multiple disc herniations, this has caused chronic enchephilitis.

Always remember if you have spinal injections for pain relief, that everytime they
stick a needle in your spine. It will also cause more scar tissue.

I have a real bad herination at the T4-T5 which is at the mid back, they won't even
consider surgery there as that is where the heart and lung nerve come out. I have had
injections above and below that area trying to alleiveate the pain but they just can't
inject at the spot where it is herniated as it could mess up the nerve signal there.

I really do feel for ya'll, so I will keep you in my prayers.

God Bless ya'll.

Have you tried any of that up-side down hanging therapy to take pressure off from it and let the disc heal? I've found with my back that exercise, moderate work, and stretching goes a long way towards pain relief - -

That's why I'm in such a hurry to get Mystical into a nice home centered on her grandkids. If this thing goes suddenly south for some reason, she'll be all set up to be cozy and happy - -

I have an appt.with my Physical Therapist this afternoon, hopefully this will be the last one. She has me doing the Epley Maneuver. It's to help people who have Benign Positional Vertigo.

Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to!

I have an inversion table along with gravity boots, I have had my system since the early 80s. I do some stretching along with some
Dai-Chi which helps some. It does help some, but for those that have
never done it. Do not just go out and buy the system and do it. You
must get used to that system a little bit at a time. Like just about
a minute or 2 every few hours until your body gets used to it.
You should also be aware if you have and anurisim it could rupture. So
always do it with some one present until you know what all the side
effects are.

Main, don't let any Doctor try and talk you into a Herrington rod for your
back. I know a couple of people who got one. They have had nothing but serious
problems since. When it is cold outside the cold radiates into the steel of
the rod. If it get hot outside you feel it in the rod.

I find that I have to lay on the floor with my feet and legs proped up for
awhile just to be able to breathe sometimes.

When my back first started bothering me years ago, I used to hang by my hands, then by my knees from the overhead ladder in the gym (I was a high school coach), and that really helped, but then I really twisted my back badly during wrestling practice and nothing seemed to help after that - - finally had some arthroscopic surgery to trim the disc and "roto-rooter" around the sciatic nerve channels to remove calcium spurs - been great (knock on wood) since!! Wink The hanging upside down did help early on -

But I'm moving back to the town I love!! I just e-mailed the town's new paper that I was glad they were starting up again - mentioned that one of the columnists looked to be a former student of mine. The owner e-mailed me back - He's a former student too!! Told me how my Sophomore Mythology class inspired him to go for literature and writing in College. I taught his kids, too! That's the kind of town it is - -

Moving back there could be better than meds for me!! Wink

The big white "G"? Well, I could say for "God's Country" but it's for Pleasant Grove. I lined up the Hueys to sling load the steel, white aluminum and cement up there for the High School kids and Kiwanas Club folks to make it permanent when I was in the S-3 of the National Guard Engineers thereabouts. The "G" used to be just loose rock that the kids had to go up, rebuild and white was each year. It covers about the same area as a football field!
