Subject: FW: You may live in Texas....

Forget Rednecks, here is what Jeff Foxworthy has to say about Folks
>From Texas ...

If someone in a Lowe's store offers you assistance and they don't work
there, you may live in Texas

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you may live in
Texas .

If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed a
wrong number, you may live in Texas .

If "Vacation" means going anywhere s outh of Dallas for the weekend, you
may
live in Texas .

If you measure distance in hours, you may live in Texas .

If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you may
live
in Texas

If you install security lights on your house and garage, but leave both
unlocked, you may live in Texas .

If you carry jumper cables in your car and your wife knows how to use
them,
you may live in Texas

If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph -- you're going 80 and
everybody
s passing you, you may live in Texas .

If you find 60 degrees "a little chilly", you may live in Texas

If you actually understand these jokes, and forward them to all your
Texas
friends & others, you definitely live in Texas

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
And yes, I carry jumper cables in my car and I know how to use them. I've only had to do it twice and both times it was helping a man! Big Grin

I'm down in the Houston area. Drove to Dallas one time and I was doing 75 in the left hand lane "thinking" I was NOT slow traffic. Almost got ran off the road a few times and decided to go back to the slow lane.

If you pull up behind someone and they move over to the shoulder and you pass them all the while maintaining the same speed you may be from Texas.

When after the passing you give a hand raise wave and they give one in return you may be from Texas.

If you drive down your street and wave at any car coming the other direction and they wave back you may be from Texas.

If your on a rural county road and you see another vehicle and they give you the one finger (fore finger) wave you may be from Texas.

If you play Name That Road Kill you may be from Texas.

Hey, Darlene. In Texas, 75mph is the speed you'd better be doing coming up the ramp if you want to merge onto I10 or I35 (lol)! I was born in Conroe in 1952. It was a lil' bitty town back then. Heard it grew considerably. Moved away and lived in Killeen, Seguin and San Antone for years afterwards. Nice to met you!

If you expect your boss to bring breakfast tacos instead of donuts to a morning meeting you surely live in Texas, well, Austin or San Antonio anyway.

Hey Jim, We have a MLK Blvd out off of SR 54. It runs all the way past Dona Anna and on to White Sands Missile Test Range.

Well I'll be a dad-gummed lop-eared mule. I used to live over the hill and through the woods from there.

Any of you Texans ever heard of the KILLOUGH Massacre?

I don't know about the Bass Pro, but I have found my shopping place! Cabelas in Fort Worth. I discovered it my last trip to an FAA conference and spent hours in that thing! You can bet that every time I go from now on, you could find me there when not in the class rooms..... Big Grin
