The following was sent to me this morning. It appears to be a tribute to the Patriot Guard Riders. Very well done. Atribution for the theme quote is given to Sgt Jennifer Hartman, USA, killed in Iraq by a car bomb.
PGR's, thank you for your continued service. http://www.lutzkicksass.com/theride/ This message has been edited. Last edited by: moe1942, |

Joe what you and your brothers do goes above and beyond. Sorry to say I can only do short hops on my Harley anymore. Can't stand for any length of time either.
I can't thank you and my brothers enough for what y'all do. I know it gives great comfort to the families of the fallen.. Just a suggestion. I think Wayne lutz would like to know if all who viewed his video had an opinion of his work... |

Moe I did send an E-Mail to Wayne Lutz and told him how great it was. For all who view, to send reply to Lutz on top left of video says E-Mail Lutz.

That is a very touching tribute to Sgt. Jennifer Hartman.
She is a Hero. As are all who serve. Prayer for them all. May God be watching over them always. |

Moe Thank You for posting this. I cried too.
JK as you know I joined the Patriot Guard today, I can no longer serve in uniform, but I can serve my brothers and sisters in uniform through the Patriot Guard. Moe, I don't ride a bike, I will be coming in my car, if we are close it would be an honor to have you ride along. Sgt. Hartman, I know you can hear me in Heaven - to all of those who have given so much Thank You, I am not American by birth, I am American by choice, and I am so proud to be among men and women such as you. God Bless, Patti |

Thanks Friscolady. I thanked my buddy for sending it to me and Wayne for a fantastic tribute. I've never seen anything as moving and I don't move easy. I hope it will be seen many timed. I think it is worthy of being kept at the top so I will bump from timr to time.

Within the next quarter-hour, a PGR escort will be bringing in a returning Army Vet from the sandbox who was paralyzed by shrapnel from an IED blast some months ago!
If I heard the Police scanner right, there are in excess of 100 PGR's bringing him in in addition to City, State, and County LE. They'll be cruising right out front here and Main street is full of people, flags, welcome home signs, and Yellow Ribbons around everything not capable of movement! Gotta go! KJ1110, I know he won't know the difference, but do me a favor salute him for me - for all of us - when you salute. Patti |

I met a lot of the guys from my local PGR chapter earlier today at a memorial service here in NJ... They are definitely an outstanding organization with an outstanding cause.

Patti: Consider it "rendered!"
Slight correction; it wasn't an IED, but rather he actually took a round in the spine! At any rate, paralyzed below the chest! There may still be some hope of his regaining some use of his legs! They showed him on the local news and it was clear that he was utterly thunderstruck and overwhelmed by the welcome home! KJ thank God he didn't have a flag draped over him.
I just hope the VA system doesn't jerk him around. |

Werd!
Well, for the relatively minor stuff, he'll likely go to the same regional VA as I and my Father do and, by and large, they're (the medical people) pretty darn good, if a bit overworked; the bureaucracy, as would be expected, tends to screw the pooch every so often (imagine that)! To kill time while I'm there, I generally try to give the n00b's some guidance in using the system. Anyhoo, I suspect for more major stuff, this Troop will likely have to head down to Madison, WI, and for the really specialized stuff, use tri-care at the regional General Hospital (public). Certainly, I'm pulling for him! It is not our belief or disbelief that can make or unmake the fact. ~ Thomas Paine |

Thanks KJ. Looks like location has a lot to do with it. I know he would get good care at our VA. They can't do enough for vets.
