Why Did Obama appoint the finance commitee chairman to write up and push thru the health care program instead Of the health Care Chairman to do it. that don't make sense to me.
I am hoping that the liberals who voted him in should understand why and explain it to me...

Obama did not appoint him to do anything, the Majority leader assigns bills to committees based on the rules of the Senate. Part of the content of the bill falls under Finance, part under Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. I believe that the Health, Education committee formerly was chaired by Senator Kennedy, and as he was very ill, it was assigned to Finance.

Because it's the finance committee that is assinged to do the most digging into our pockets - -
