By the way, I picked up my own methods of handling bullies when I was little. If they were at a distance (because I was too slow to outrun anybody), I'd started throwing rocks as fast as I could pick them up. If I was in close, I'd latch onto them somewhere with my teeth and let them drag me around until their screaming would rally some adult to stop the ruckus.

"Fang" was more like it! Granny likes to embarrass me by telling a story that I even bit her on the leg when I was about 3, and she had to bite my hand to get me to turn loose. Sad thing is, she's still got a scar just above the knee to prove it's not a myth!!

Teach them frequent gun practice, martial arts (tae kwon do especially, but karate too), survivalism, and teach them to say this if anybody except their parent tries to take their guns unconstitutionally or invade their space unconstitutionally: "SAY NO AND MEAN IT." And teach them what "Mean it" means.
