I was watching a silent auction for cattle, I scratched my nose when they had a cow up for auction. The handler pointed at me. I backed off saying no! no!

Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to!

Why did you back off? Just think of all the fresh cream you could have had with your coffee every morning. Big Grin

Bergy, I know how you feel... I was at my local auction buying some feeder calves. When I got done (I thought) buying the ones I wanted I went to the payout counter. I thought I bought 10 but on my list there was 11. I disagreed with them but to no avail. The auction was over. On the way home my boy sort of mentioned he was playing around behind me with his little buddy and he "sort of" raised his hand right in line with where mine would have been. Then I remembered how this one calf came through and the auctioneer kept looking towards me. I thought there was somebody behind me bidding.

The boy's still working off the $552.30. Big Grin

Well then....if he's paying for it....it must be his. Remember where the profit goes, when the critter is sold.

I didn't want a cow, my neighbor, offered me one of her lambs, I declined. Maybe I should have, my neighbor makes some decent money selling wool, of course she has several sheep, one sheep would not produce enough wool to turn a profit.

Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to!

Duh...It's called teaching him a lesson. And of course when it sells I'll pay him what he's made on working it off.
