Before I had my name sold to a few hundred bulk mailers I thought Military.com was the "in place" for keeping a breast of the world through a military perspective. But now I get 4 emails a day from wacky, nonexistent, mailers and the only option I get is to universally unsubscribe from all Military.com newsletters. Looks to me that Military.com has become just another GI-Vulture.

So the question is why ruin a good experience with all these outside bulk emailers? Question # is why won't military.com either answer my complaint, or get control of these outside emailers else disavow these emails are actually endorsed by military.com and take these unauthorized bulk emailers to task for CANSPAM Act violations.

Hi numbers, I feel you, I do, it wasn't like this back in the good old days before Monster. I use to get good military dope before AKO got things. Someone saw a cash cow in all of them soldiers and retirees.

Only emails I get is Mega vote-whatever stuff - -

I get none, and I've been a member since before Monster came in!

That aside, did you read the Agreement disclaimer when you joined?

And then agreed to it regardless?

I own two Apple computers. The only Spam I get comes in a can at my local food store or the commissary. However, that said, Mil.Com is owned by a group of Communist.

By the way, Duster - just step up and say something!

I can't help myself greywolfghost. I was never like this until Obama was elected. Besides, I'm a Vietnam Vet and my elevator sometimes gets stuck before it gets to the top floor.

I have been a member for a few years, and I only get one or two email a month. They do not sell your address, they do mailing for advertisers to pay the bills.

I have been a member for just a few years and I have *never* gotten any spam mail from Mil.com. Maybe if you have a spam filter helps.
Might try AVG Internet Security - good part? It's free and works just a well as Norton.

I believe my email address and posts are sold by military.com. Since joining, my email box has been crammed full with Viagra adverts.
