I have just seen a couple of trailers for the new Star trek movie coming out next spring in may. I think it looks great. Been to the forums for Star Trek, seems to be some people upset it not staying true to the original story line. I don't care, it's a refreshing look to an old tv show.
 Is this legal? I don't know,but its fun isn't?! |

Good pic GWG! Not only do you get a starship, but look at the dark cloud over the building and tower. It resembles a bird of prey.

Maybe!  That may well end up being just another "Production title!" Oh, wait! "Of Gods and Men" was a 2007 direct to (Low Budget) Video production which takes place after Kirk is swept away by "The Nexus Wave!" I've not seen that one! Although there is nothing like the original series, Each incarnation of the Star Trek saga has it's own merit. I'm looking forward to the new movie.
It will be interesting to see what they do with all of the modern effects available. I have the entire original series, in a collector's edition. It's really rather impressive, what Gene did with the shoe-string budget forced upon him by the network. Funny, in a way, but still pretty darned good! |
