For the last 30 minutes, I have been trying to get a Reply Box to work on these discussion pages. I have logged in about 10 times, which has kicked me to my own "Bio" page. I could then click on "Bio" and the "Active" page that I guess no one can see except me, so I don't know why it even exists - - Roll Eyes

Then I would click on "Discussions", and it would take me there, but at the top right of the "Hot Topics" diiscussion board, it would show me as not being logged in, and when I clicked on a reply box, or tried to respond to a previous post, I got nothing but one error message after another. I was about ready to bag the whole thing when it finally allowed my login to be accepted - -

Also, any time I go to one of the other Service Threads...especially the Marine Threas, I end up getting logged out again, and have to go through the whole goat rope again - -

This is getting very old, very fast=ahey

we're all having troubles..... Dawg says it has to do with the server. something I found out is to 'log out' and then log back in... that has worked for me. He also suggested to delete your cookies, but yeah I hope the powers that be come up with a fix.

Yep. Me too. It's an XML error message. I have to log off on the main military.com page and log back in and then come to the forums through the front page. Then I have to click login before I click on the hot topics forum. Then it will work.

Well, the time I was going to use to rattle with folks tonight has already lapsed - so I guess I'll log back out - -

Most likely that will be good news for most -

You can have some when you translate this,

<HTML><META HTTP-EQUIV="content-type" CONTENT="text/html;charset=utf-8">
The XML page cannot be displayed
<P style="FONT: 8pt/11pt verdana">Cannot view XML input using style sheet.
Please correct the error and then click the <A
href="javascript:location.reload()" target=_self>Refresh</A> button, or try
again later.
<HR>

Ladies and Germs...

Of what I can gather...

This has been an on-going problem that has been with us for the past week....

It seems that the "Lead IT Gurus" have been replacing some servers throughout the system...and, that will result in some down time, or delays in loggin in, if not both.

Right now, it also seems tht the site is undergoing a series of 'upgrades'...

It would have been considerate if some form of announcement was forthcoming about these 'thingies'... Razz

Many of us have the same problem when we try to log in or go to other forums.

One still CAN NOT directly login on the first three tries...
That can be accomplished when posting a reply, or initiating a new topic.

Couldn't even get past the 'home page' for a couple of hours, then, couldn't even get the site after 11pm my time...

Other than that...still the same crapola 'error' excuses as has been the norm this whole week...

Makes one wonder... Roll Eyes

Hey, it worked the first time. How about that. Having said that something tells me the owners of this system wants us to go away. Forever. It's not about the glitches, I just have this feeling they rather have a different site with anyone other then one composed of military folks. I could be wrong but here we are depending on someone elses good graces and those who dispense said graces rather give them to someone else.

WHAT THE FARGUN!?!?

Actually, logging in this morning was pretty smooth - I just hope I don't get one of those damnable E-mail notifications saying I need to confirm my new membership - -! Mad

As for Smugmug - my account won't accept my login password. When did they ever say they were going to lock up people's accounts and hold their photos hostage??!!
