Hello I am in the process of joining I took the asvab got a 35 had no GED or diploma but was told I would get into the GED plus program. But the score rose to a 50.

My recruiter told me about a week ago that it went back down to a 31 and to hurry and get my GED. I told him I had taken the test and would get my results in 3 weeks. He said great your good to go call me when you get em.

HE said for every person that gets a 70+ on the ASVAB one person with a lower score is aloud in.

Is this true or is this just another ******** story from my recruiter. I have been told they are not even accepting GED holders with college credits in the NG.

Please help me people. I want to serve my country and be part of the great and respected 11b MOS. Thanks peace

The rules change depending on the need of the services. There are lots of ways to service our nation other than being in the military.
There is nothing wrong with just being a good citizen.
