Happy 4th of July, America!

May your children never have to go through what our children went through.

May your eyes never have to witness the horror that was perpetrated against our people.

Next time you drive by a reservation or see a Native American picture in a tobacco ad, think about us.

Next time you see a black man, woman or child, think about the African holocaust that has never been dealt with.

I have served with "African Americans" and "Native Americans...they didn't seem to hold a grudge. Yep, America wasn't perfect but through all the crap as well as the good, arose a Country that is as close to perfect as you can get!

Just some food for thought, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe I am, didn't Egypt have coucasion slaves back then? And what about the Holocaust? and I'm proud to say that I have Native American, Dutch, and Irish, blood running through my veins.

I wasn't aware of that but I was just trying broaden the spectrum here not just our country and not just one people, there has been slavery for thousands of year's. Thanks for the info.

I just wanted to send out another reply to the person that started this post, We are one nation with many nationalities and it's not centered around any one man or woman any nationality black, white, blue, green, we are one nation. What has happened in the past is not any one of the today's people or any of our parents, and grandparents fault so why is this constantly rubbed in our faces. We are one Nation and let's celebrate it as ONE!!! Happy 4th of July to all.
