My fiance just got home from 2 years in Korea. His HIV test results were mailed to him and came in the form of a card that folded over and was stapled to keep anyone from seeing the contents. The problem with this is if you hold the stapled card from the fold to the stapled end between your middle finger and thumb and squeeze it just a little you can now see your Social Security number. Now anyone looking has your name, your address and your identity. Just a heads up. You guys work too hard to have your identity stolen when it could be prevented.

Soooooooooo, while you were snooping around reading your fiance's mail did you happen to find out if he had "it" or not? Inquiring minds want to know.

Everything I get from the VA has my last name and last 4.... I think the days of seeing big wooden boxes of overseas household effects on a flat bed truck on the highway with spray painted FULL SSN on them is over.... WOW... that is a LONG run on sentence.....

But Yes.... Sometimes people doing the mailing just don't have a clue....

I doubt the card said on the outside HIV Test results
... I also remember that I was screaming my Service Number (I was in a couple of days before they switched to SSAN ) so that at a minimum it was heard in the next company area if not the nearest town.
