Taxes will go up, economy will go down, all of our TSP's will be worth nothing like ENRON.

"If Barack HUSSEIN Obama wins election, what will happen?"

Let's see. Joe Biden will be VP? Sara Palin will not?

I wonder what would happen if the source of this thread were to fill out their Public Profile!

PS

What's the point of capitalizing Senator Obama's middle name other than to make a weak attack? I'm a Republican but do not care for tactics such as this.

PPS

I wonder if overweight knows that the Coast Guard comes under the DOT...

not what you think would happen, but what will happen is that maybe we can get our economy moving again, get back in good standings with the rest of the world and move on from this horrible state that our country is in. besides that I don't think anything much.

1. More funding of leftist organizations with taxpayer dollars.
2. Major assault on the 2nd Amendment, the linchpin os the rest of the Bill of Rights.
3. More infanticide and funding of that practice and the culture of death, in general.
4. Appeasement of international dictators and invaders.
5. More judges who will NOT interpret law but who will act as their own legislature, mocking the will of Americans.
6. Further denigration of Christians and Jews.

THE MAJOR CONCERN, IF THE ELECTORATE IS SO DUPED AND SELF-DESTRUCTIVE AS TO BLINDLY ELECT THIS MARXIST-LOVING, MILITARY-HATING SOCIALIST WILL BE THAT THE SECURITY OF THE USA WILL BE COMPROMISED. EVEN JOEY BIDEN KNOWS FULL WELL THAT B. HUSSEIN OBAMA IS NOT PREPARED, IF HE IS ELECTED; SO THE JACKASS PARTY IS ALREADY MAING EXCUSES FOR HIS MILITARY AND INTERNATIONAL INEPTITUDE.

And this is only for starters. . . . .

Another WACO standoff perhaps?

It would only confirm the position that the end of the world will arrive no later than 2012.

Hunker down, trust in God and your fellow Americans, keep your powder dry and we'll get through the probable UN occupation. Those cute little blue hats are sure easy to spot.

Barack is a "carbon copy" of Bill Clinton.... and I didn't like him. Barack is an execellent speaker and so far that's all he seems to have become accomplished at; and that's about all we really "know" about the man. No college thesis (lost?), won't speak in depth about past affiliations, he has no record of accomplishments in the senate (ever wonder why he never brings up his tenure there?), or say specifically how he is going to pay for all his plans. He is going to stick it to us if elected and renege on most of his promises.

At least McCain is not a phoney -- what you see is what you get (IMHO). Barack has to many ghost that he's not coming clean on -- finances for one. Maybe I'm just to honest but if your being upright and straightforward then why wouldn't your say "here's the book of donors, look it over". Instead of "it's not required to devulge where donations $200 and less comes from". That infers there is something to hide, and I don't like that.

Oh well, we'll see.

I think you may have a point there, I reckon a lot of Yanks will go into the polling stations with every intellectual intention of voting for Obama and at the last minute they'll think "feck me, he's a N..." and vote for McCain.

Which would not, speaking as a non-Yank, ordinarily be a bad thing - last time round I quite liked the sound of McCain - but I asked a bookie at the races the other day what the present odds were on McCain completing one term of office and he said "evens". And that is scary given the man's No2.

It really depends on who you ask, if you ask Barneke, Obama will be helpful (and he's backing him) if you ask Steve Forbes of Forbes Magazine..he says this

http: //www.christianworldviewnetwork.com/article.php/4090/Brannon-Howse/By-Joel-Rosenberg

[from Steve Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine, the nation's foremost business magazine (see Steve's recent columns).

quote:
The big question now: What does it all mean and where do we go from here? A few thoughts on the implications of this financial apocalypse:

1. First things first: our national security is inextricably tied to our economic security. Economic weakness is an invitation to radical Islamic terrorists to hit us again. It's also an invitation to other rogue nations to pursue their evil plans while thinking we are unable or unwilling to stop them. The U.S. cannot lead the world in defeating tyrants and terrorists and creating an environment of peace and prosperity if we are collapsing at home. Stabilizing our economy, reforming our financial institutions, punishing and imprisoning those who have criminally undermined our economy, and getting us back on the road to free market growth and entrepreneurial health and vitality must be the top priority of the next Commander-in-Chief.

2. I don't believe one U.S. political party or the other is specifically to blame for our own financial crisis. There is plenty of blame to go around and the problems have been developing for years.

That said, it is becoming increasingly clear to me that the U.S. stock markets are tanking especially hard right now in part because investors believe Sen. Barack Obama is going to win on November 4th. As polls for Obama and Congressional Democrats have risen - and Americans have begun to sense that Obama's election as president and expanded control of Congress by Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Harry Reid and their liberal allies is inevitable - investors' fears have not been calmed. They have been exacerbated.

True, investors don't see a complete and convincing economic rescue plan from Sen. McCain. But they see disaster in Obama's plan and the likelihood of full control of the U.S. government by the Democrats. The Obama-Pelosi-Reid prescription, after all, is the worst possible medicine for the economy - $1.3 trillion in new federal spending, dramatic tax increases on small businesses, dramatic tax increases on big businesses, dramatic tax increases on those who create wealth, a major new tax on energy producers, as well as nationalized health care system. We are not simply on the brink of a serious recession; we are on the brink of another Great Depression.

So do we look to Barneke, or Forbes?

With all due respect, he has been quite honest about how he plans on paying for it, he's going to tax people who make more money and re-distribute it to those who make less.

So all of those hollywood types who make millions of dollars per movie, and TV Show, he will tax the crap out of them, and in that they have had those capital gains tax breaks and such, that have benefited them over the years, and they will be gone, they will pay even more.

Which only serves to tell me, that even though they can memorize lines, they don't use the brains God gave them for anything else.

And He will keep raising their taxes, until they get angry, which they eventually will, when they are paying more than half their income in taxes.

And not only will the Hollywood types get upset, but all those folks in San Fran, and New York, and all around the country who have only over the past few years started making more money, where they are in the top 5% of wage earners who didn't 'get burned' before when this happened, will now be hit and start screaming, when they start filing their tax returns and seeing those checks they are going to be writing to Uncle Sam each year.

So right now, if they are writing a check to Uncle Sam for $20,000, they will in a few years be writing a check for $80,000, but they are apparently to blind to see that truth.

And who knows, they may actually do what they said they would do if Bush were elected, and decide to actually leave the country.
