I have a pic my great-uncle sent home in '54-'55. There is a jeep in the pic and I want to know what the markings on the bumper mean.
This is what it says left to right:
KCZ 53E * AMP7

The 3 could be an 8 as the left side of it is out of the frame of the pic.

Where was he? Korea? Germany? Mars? My guess is 53rd Engineer Battalion. Do a google search, and see where they were.

He was in a different unit when he was stationed on Mars... Razz
Actually he was in Korea.
