I have not seen this happen (Army to Navy HUMINT) within the Navy's Intel Community. The Navy HUMINT program centers largely around interrogation/counter-terrorism.

For the Navy, HUMINT is not an MOS. You would have to become an Intelligence Specialist (Navy rating = MOS) by completing IS "A" school (like AIT). In the Army the 34F(former 96B) best equates to an IS; if you have completed this training, you 'might' be able to get credit for IS "A" School.

Toward the end of "A" School, students are selected for "C" School - do a search for NEC's (Navy Enlisted Classifications) on the Intel Forum to see what they are. For HUMINT, Marines and Navy train together in Dam Neck, VA. Upon completion of the school, an NEC is awarded -- NEC's are like the Army's skill identifiers.

HUMINT folks are stationed in different places within the Navy and deploy to various locations from there. I am not going to get into specifics on an open forum.

I suggest you talk to a local Navy Recruiter to discuss your options.

Good luck!
