Do NOT take the school lightly. It is a tough school and alot of folks fail out of the school...Best advice I can give is STUDY STUDY STUDY. The school is hard but the job is great...As USNSYG said stay out of the drama, do your own thing and pass.

I have to agree with the C school being a breeze. I thought it was more of a vacation then school...Now it may have been my situation, Each cruise I went on was followed by a C school. So maybe I was just happy to be home and not in Portsmith with the rest of the crew. A school was right out of Great Lakes, and I was just a dumb old redneck before Boot.

I want to join the navy and I need some other options besides a corpsman just incase that was not availiable. The Intelligence and Communications looked like it would be and interesting job. So I am just wondering what you have to get on the ASVAB? And what the schools are like? And what the job is like overall, and how do they deploy? I understand if some of the info is unavailiable. Thanks, Steve Calmeyn
