I was just wondering if you are at the DLI for CTI rating what are your weekends like? Are you able to go off base, and if so can you go away for the whole weekend(like leave Friday night and come back Sunday) or are you required to be there all the time?
You can do what you want on the weekends, but if you have duty section on a weekend you can't go too far away incase they have to call you for something. It's not likely that they will call you, but it's possible. It's more lax than most A schools. I recently graduated from DLI and have been talking to people who went to other CT A schools at Pensacola and it seems like they were a lot more strict there. Just make sure you don't skip out on the 2 mando PTs every week, don't be late to muster each morning, and show up to duty section muster and you'll be fine at Monterey.
