I'm currently an AE3 and I'm getting pretty tired of my rate and I'm thinking about crossrating to CTI. Before I make my decision: Do CTI's stand duty? If you do, what do you do on duty?
If I become a Mandarin linguist, what are the chances of me being stationed on a ship?
If I become a Russian or Greek linguist, where will I most likely be stationed at?
How long does it usually take to class up?
Thanks
How's a typical work day as a CTI?

Use the find function to read previous posts by myself, saxquiz, and other current/former CTIs, as this will give you most of the answers you are looking for.

CTIs are NEVER, EVER stationed on ships (or boats). TAD only, usually for very short duration. Greek is not a CTI language....it is possible you might learn it as a secondary language sometime in your career, but that is doubtful.
