I've got a thread around here somewhere looking downt the road towards a commission in one of these fields, and am just looking for any opinions/thoughts that can help clarify what I might be looking at. I don't fully understand what the difference is between the two ratings, or what their job description is (beyond the fluff text on recruiting sites, I mean).

My degree will be in Computer Science or Engineering (with a Software Concentration).

It's tough to ask too specific a question because I'm mainly just looking for opinions and impressions.

I guess I'd go with something like this as a jumping off point: If you had to write a paragraph or two about what "A day in the life of an Intelligence/Information Warfare officer" might be like, how would it read? Sounds like a high school essay project, but that's basically what I'm looking for.
