hoping for some good news

I am a ctn shipping out for boot on 20090212
i have lived in the Va suburbs all my life and i am hoping to be placed somewhere far away(Cali - or overseas).

What are my chances after A school to be placed somewhere other Newport?

Most CTN's don't go overseas or on ships. Frankly, the only ones that I know overseas or ships are the converted CTN's, not the ones that have been through the pipeline. Anyone not agree with this?

Have your detailer log into JASS/CMS to see the places that they go.
The screen will look like this, and will show billets out to 14 months.

(Click on the CMS link on the side)

He will have to use his CAC and card reader to get access. (Which he'll know).
