I've got 5 month left at DLI before I graduate and I'm wondering if I have to live in the barracks until E5 or if I can move off base at E4. I've heard as a general rule it's E5, but here at DLI you can move off base no matter what your paygrade because the barracks are pretty full. Anyone know if there's a similar situation at Gordon?

There is a waiting list for E4's to move off with BAH. You'll route a chit, it will likely be approved, and then you'll go to the wait list. The wait list exists to maintain a certain percentage of occupancy in the barracks.

Cool. At least there's a chance to get BAH at an E4. I was hoping I wouldn't have to wait till E5. Thanks.
