I am an AE3 working on my package to cross rate to CTI. I'm fairly confident that I'll have my package approved. I scored a 123 on the DLAB, and I'm a native Russian speaker. My only issue might be my clearance as I was born in Latvia when the whole area was still considered "The Soviet Union" (hammer and sickle on my birth certificate and all). My entire family moved to the US when I was 3 and we're all citizens now. My main questions are: What is the likelyhood that I'll be able to get myself into the Russian class already having knowledge of the language? What is the current housing policy for fleet returnees at DLI? Do they give E-4s BAH to live off base and commute?

Thank you for any information in advance

-AE3
