I have several questions for anyone willing to answer. First of all what should I expect after Basic? (I am currently D.E.P. status, I.S. rate.)Also if and when I am on hold between A-school and C-school will I be able to go home?
Rather than rehash a bunch of information previously posted, please review older posts for exactly the information you have requested on life in school and what to expect when you hit the fleet.
As for leave, never count on it even if you have a break between A and C school. The first time I would think your leave would kick in is after school and before your first duty station. This was how it was back in my time, but may have changed in the interim.
