I just converted from STS to CTN, just wondering what I can expect next. Supposedly I will not even class up for "A" school until Jan 2010, so I was just wondering if I should spend this down time at my current command to study for CTN stuff. Any book recomendations?
Thanks in advance!

Hey Bullhead. I ship for bootcamp in a few days for CTN, but I was told reading books about Security+ and Network+ will help. I went to the local Barnes&Nobles and picked up two books buy Mike Meyers entitled simply Network+ and Security+, respectively. They were kind of pricey but much cheaper off of Amazon or other sites (eBay?)

Also, 'www.learntosubnet.com' will be very helpful, I'm told. Of course I do not know first hand, but when I have spoken to CTN's and CTNCM Montgomery, these are what have been recommended. I hope this helps.

Best of luck to you and I hope to see you in the fleet someday.

My conversion package took about 3 months. My conversion was a little wierd though, it goes a lot faster if everything is in order first.
